Managing Your ICHRA Renewal - A Guide For Employees
Instructions for ICHRA employees renewing through HSA Insurance
We make it easy for HSA Insurance members to renew coverage online through their HSA member account! Watch the video or follow the step-by-step instructions below on how to review and manage your enrollment coverage online. It takes less than 5 minutes!
Before you start the renewal process, make sure to verify your contribution amount for the new year! You can check your contribution amount by contacting your HRA Administrator or employer’s HR Department. It is important to notify your HRA Administrator and/or employer of any changes to ensure your contribution is correctly updated for the new year!
It is important to know that all individual ICHRA plans renew January 1. You can change your enrollment during the non-group Open Enrollment plan year which runs from November 1 through December 23 for a January 1 effective date. You can still make changes for February 1 or March 1 through the end of the day, January 23. We do not need supporting documentation during the non-group Open Enrollment period. Benefit elections are binding until the next Open Enrollment period, unless you experience a qualifying life event such as marriage, divorce, legal separation, death in the family, spouse loss of other coverage, birth or adoption of a child or a dependent child reaching limiting age.
